The Queen’s Silver Jubilee 1977. Roy tops the bill at the street party, then elopes to Rhyl with the love of his life, Phyllis. Fast Frank and his bride Rose move into their new home, and Maggie, a Shakespearian actor, performs for the Queen.
Twenty-five years later, on the eve of the Golden Jubilee, Roy contemplates suicide, Frank has finished work to care for his demented Rose, Maggie gets a chance to perform again, and Phyllis wants rid of her latest fancy man.

A crumbling Victorian Townhouse is home to the Black Sheep Housing Cooperative, founded by anarchist punks during the Thatcher years.
The Black Sheep tenants enjoy cheap rent, communal singalongs, yoga, and vegetarian meals; they endure missing floorboards, rats, and no central heating.
As property developers swoop in, converting the old squats on their street, the Black Sheep’s days seem numbered. But hope flickers when they discover an old journal belonging to Maggie, the Maid of all Work who once lived and died in the house. Could Maggie’s secrets be the key to securing their future?

Leaving Lives
Ireland 1932, a time of political unrest and social inequality, Commandant Murray orders an execution.
